The In-School Program consists of in-school presentations that will introduce students in grades 6 to 12 to:
- the job outlook in Winnipeg and Manitoba
- various occupational profiles in Winnipeg and Manitoba
- options for post-secondary schooling in trades and technology areas
- information for successful career planning
- real life success stories
- employability skills
The presentations will be delivered in a format that is fun and easy to understand. It is an informative, interactive, 45 minute presentation about career opportunities in the skilled trades and technologies. The presentation is designed to increase students’ awareness of career opportunities in the skilled trades and technologies by presenting up-to-date, relevant information and encouraging students to investigate all of their post-secondary options.
